Dare To Dream

Because of my work I often find myself reflecting on life and death.  After watching so many lives flash before my eyes I find myself asking common questions like, “What is life all about? Is it suppose to be just work, day in and day out? Are we selling ourselves short? There’s got to be more… right?”

I really believe that there’s more to life than sitting around all day trying to make that dollar. Now, let me assure you I understand that money is necessary because we all have bills to pay but what I don’t understand is the lust for money. Why does our society value people based on wealth?

I personally value artist,  creators, dreamers and thinkers. Most of the time with them it’s not about money, it’s about the love for the human race and the advancement of our species. One of the greatest feelings in the world is to dream up an idea and then watch it come to life. It doesn’t necessarily have to be an object but it could be artwork that captures the moment, or a piece of literature that inspires people, or even a new scientific theory  that pushes the limits. I admire these types of people who are not afraid to try new things or question what we are taught. They may not always be correct and their ideas may be wacky but they dare to be different and dream.

So, I encourage you not to just conform but follow your heart, go after your dreams. If your are passionate about something carrying on and never be afraid to question, what we think we know.
